Background Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) is an important enzyme for evaluating hepatic,biliary tract,and bone diseases.However,ALP results vary among the reagents with different methods.We arranged a multiple center comparison study of ALP based on the correlation of 2 routine method and reference method.Methods We set up the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC) reference method for ALP at 37° in Beijing,Chengdu and Guangzhou reference laboratories (Clin Chem Lab Med.2011;49:1439).
