Parkinsons disease is a chronic and progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by resting tremor,rigidity and bradykinesia.Although some treatments are efficacious for many years,they all have significant limitations and new therapeutic approaches are needed.Gene therapy is ideal for continuous delivery of therapeutic materials to site-specific regions of central nervous system.In this study,we constructed a tet-inducible AAV vector pSVbi-GDNF-TH,that carries glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) and tyrosine hydroxylase (TH); a corresponding report AAV vector pSVbi-GFP-RFP that carries red fluorescence protein (RFP) and green fluorescence protein (GFP),and a inducer plasmid pcDNA3.1-tTA.
