Some gases such as CO,NO and H2S have remarkably therapeutic activity,especially to two most important diseases,cancer and cardiovascular disease.[1] However,their uncontrollable administration can bring either toxic side effects or low therapy efficacy owing to too high or too low gas concentration.[2] Therefore,how to realize controlled gas release is vitally important for gas therapy.Most of gas-releasing molecules(GRMs)have poor controllability or are subject to the spontaneous release of gas.Our aim is to design some advanced nanomedicines based on low-dimension nano-platforms for well controlled gas release,and low-toxic and high-efficacy gas therapy.
