Densified biofuel industry development status in the European Union(EU)and China was taken as the object,and it was found that China and the EU both had rich biomass resources and broad application prospects by carrying out the contrastive analysis from the five aspects: biomass resources reserve,technology development,policy making,market construction and the establishment of standard system.At the same time,China still has a large gap compared with the EU in technology development,policy making and standard system establishment.By summarizing the development experience of the EU and combining the China biomass energy utilization status,the experience references are excepted to provide for building a densified biofuel industry system with Chinese characteristics,regulating market order,formulating Chinese densified biofuel guide policies,perfecting Chinese densified biofuel industry standards.
