Heading date is one of the most important agronomic traits in rice.Appropriate heading date is helpful to rice production.In this study, to dissect the genetic factors controlling heading date in rice, we developed a set of chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSLs).288 CSSLs (BCsF2) were developed with zhenshan 97 as recipient and Minghui 63 as donor by 5 consecutive backcrossing and one selfing.
