The application of nanotechnology for drug delivery is widely expected to bring promise and create novel therapeutics.[1] Particularly exciting are the recent efforts to apply nanotechnology to engineer smart adaptive nanocarriers for small interfering RNA (siRNA) based RNA interference (RNAi) technology,giving birth to an entirely novel RNAi-therapeutics.
