Recently,biotransformation has become recognized as a feasible method for chemical transformation due to environmentally friendly conditions.Tenatoprazole is a novel proton pump inhibitor,the inhibition was found to be greater and longer lasting than that obtained with omeprazole and lansoprazole.On the other hand,tenatoprazole has a pair of enantiomer,which may exhibit differential stereochemically dependent metabolism and enzyme inhibition.
