  By installing the anti-wave fin in the center hull bow side wall near free surface, the high speed trimaran resistance is reduced and the spray around the outrigger bows is alleviated, so that the total resistance of the trimaran in high speed is reduced.In this paper, the relationship between the anti-wave fim parameters and the wave resistance was systematically analyzed, such as the longitudinal position, immersion depth, span, chord, lift coefficient, etc., referring to the linear wave resistance theory, based on which the wave cancelling and resistance reduction property of the anti-wave fin for the high speed trimarans was researched, and combining the full factor inverse design method in the engineering, the parameters of the anti-wave fin series for resistance reduction were obtained.Present theory research indicates that the high speed trimaran with the anti-wave fin has obvious resistance reduction effect, with the resistance reduction decrease ratio more than 30% from the anti-wave fin for the resistance reduction.
