High-rise structure has already been widely used in various engineering fields due to its properties of high height, light weight, low rigidity and slender shape. The shape of high-rise structure determines that this structure is liable to vibrate under the action of wind load. With the rapid development of economy and the progress of technology, innumerable high-rise structures are springing up and increasingly developing to higher, lighter and more pliable in recent years, which enhances their sensitivity to wind load and brings them huge threat and test to safe reliability. Therefore, it appears to particularly important to study vibration control of high-rise structure under wind load. Considering different construction process, this paper studies the vibration control of high steel bridge tower under wind load via the Qiong-zhou, and the specific research contents are as follows:(1) Based on finite element method, this paper employs Ansys to build the finite element model of each working condition in the construction phases of the bridge tower, analyzes and simulates the frequencies corresponding with each working condition of bridge tower by means of Ansys modality, then extracts from Ansys global stiffness matrix and quality matrix of the corresponding working condition to change into complete matrix form via Matlab, and finally verifies the accuracy.(2) In accordance with Davenport wind speed spectrum and maximum wind velocity during recurrence interval of30years, this paper simulates the fluctuating wind velocity at different heights of the bridge tower, and calculates the fluctuating wind pressure on the basis of wind velocity and criterions. And the frequencies of vortex shedding in each working condition of the bridge tower are calculated by Fourier transform on the Vortex-induced force time history to determine whether the working conditions will occur vortex-induced vibration. Based on the above results, the resonant region of the working conditions which occur vortex-induced vibration is also derived.(3) Combined with practical engineering and based on the global stiffness matrix and quality matrix of each working condition of bridge tower and numerical-simulated fluctuating wind pressure and vortex-induced force, this paper conducts numerical-simulation via Simulink modules of Matlab to simulate and analyze the effectiveness of Tuned Mass Damper on wind-induced vibration control of each working condition in the construction phases of bridge tower respectively.(4) This paper developed an innovative Tuned Mass Damper via magnetorheological elastomers to adjust the stiffness and damping. The effectiveness of magnetorheological elastomers on the control of vortex-induced vibration and fluctuating wind vibration of each construction condition of the high-rise bridge tower is verified via Simulink modules
