传统博物馆偏重于藏品收藏和研究的功能,博物馆的服务功能随着城市公共文化服务体系的建立和完善,开始发挥着越来越重要的作用。在新一轮的博物馆革命中,“以人为本”是博物馆服务功能的精练概括。新公共服务理论引进后,其强调的“服务”概念与博物馆的“以人为本”的服务方向不谋而合。如何研究博物馆对新公共服务理论的理解和运用?文中笔者从新公共服务理论对博物馆公共服务的指导意义出发,着重分析了国内博物馆公用服务的现状和问题,剖析并提出完善国内博物馆公共服务功能的建议。
