夏敬觀(一八七五—一九五三),字劍丞,號吷庵,江西新建人,晚寓上海。近代著名詩詞家、學者,著有《忍古樓詩》、《吷庵詞》、《忍古樓詩話》、《忍古樓詞話》、《詞調溯源》、《音學備考》等,並撰詩詞注本作爲近代詩詞大家,夏氏生前曾三次刊行《吷庵詞》,最早爲清光緒三十三年(一九○七)刻本一卷,後又有民國二十二年(一九三三)康橋畫社刊刻本二卷(繼前增續刻一卷),最晚則爲民國二十八年(一九三九)中華書局所出聚珍仿宋鉛印本四卷。此四卷本,雖然書前湯滌題籤爲‘丁丑春印行’,即一九三七年 Xia Jinguan (1875 - 1953), the word sword Cheng, No. 吷 Um, Jiangxi new people, late Apartments Shanghai.
