白雪果又名雪果,为忍冬科毛核木属落叶直立灌木。原产美国北部和加拿大,后引入我国,现华北、华中等地多有栽培。笔者所在河北省沧州市土壤属中度盐碱地,生长良好。白雪果株高1~2m,株形开张,枝拱形下垂。叶对生,椭圆形至卵形,蓝绿色,总状花序簇生枝顶或生叶腋。花冠钟形,粉红色下垂,常1~3朵簇生。浆果圆球形,乳白色。花期6~7月,果熟期8月,果经冬不落。白雪果喜光,耐寒,喜湿润及半阴环境。性强健,管理粗放,病虫害少, Snowberry, also known as snow fruit, for the branch of honeysuckle Coreopsis deciduous shrubs.
