备课首先要明确备什么,如何备,以及如何达到预期的效果。英语教学中为了备好每课书,必须透彻理解英语教学大纲,明确每一学年、每一学期以及每一教学单元的目的要求。如果对所使用的教材没有完整系统的教学参考书,就必须组织教师根据教材内容,编写一个比较详细的全面的教学提纲,它应包括对语音、词汇、语法、句型和听说读写译五会训练等方面的教学目的要求,全学年全学期授课的课时分配、授课内容及其顺序,以及检查和考核等项内容。这种系统的教学提纲如果能在学年或学期开始前制订出来,对教师的备课工作将会有很大帮助。教学提纲要做到教师人手一册,以便掌握教学内容和进度,加强教学的系统性和连贯性,在教学过程中做到心中有数。
