一种可广泛应用于钢包浇注的新型高铝—尖晶石钢包浇注料由冶金部洛阳耐火材料研究院和巩义市联营实验厂共同开发研制成功.5月9日,在河南郑州通过了省科委组织的专家鉴定.随着我国连铸比和精炼比的不断上升,钢水温度提高、钢水吹氩促使钢液运动加快,蚀包严重.真空处理高温停留时间长,使钢包耐火材料的工作条件变得十分苛刻.加之不少钢厂处于技术改造、挖潜的需要,减薄包村、进行钢包扩容等,导致包龄大大降低,钢包周转紧张,生产工人筑、拆包劳动强度大,耐材消耗高,漏包事故时有发生.为此,洛阳耐火材料研究院与巩义市联营实验厂合作,开发研制成功新型高铝—尖晶石质钢包浇注料.该浇注料采用超细粉凝聚结合,直接加水拦合即可振动成型.它具有加水量少、施工性能好、致密度高、烘烤中抗爆裂性好、蚀损均匀、不开裂、不剥落等特点.其高温性能和使用性能大大优于传统的水玻璃结合铝镁质钢包浇注料.
