公共图书馆作为社会教育链条上的重要一环,是学校教育的有效补充,而且其承上启下的地位和面向基层的强大辐射作用,当前未成年人阅读现状令人担忧,引人深思。因此,在建设社会主义文化强国的大潮中,探讨未成年人阅读推广的新理念、新模式、新途径,是广大未成年人人格进步和健康成长的需要,也是公共图书馆增强社会认同感,履行社会责任,从而得到可持续发展的内在要求。
