滤疱性口腔炎病毒(VSV)是一种负链病毒,对各种细胞都有很强的毒力,能很快杀死细胞,用它做为模型研究病毒杀死细胞的机理,比较简单和容易。病毒杀死细胞涉及两方面的问题,一是病毒本身,二是病毒作用于细胞的部位(即靶子)。现在对病毒的某些性质,加以讨论。第一,VSV能抑制细胞的DNA、RNA,和蛋白质合成。研究这一问题的重要途径是研究病毒的突变株。我们选用没有转录酶功能的一突变株进行研究,以期了解病毒的合成是否依赖于细胞DNA、RNA和蛋白质。
