The study of reproductive toxicity of 2-bromopropane originated from a 2-bromopropane occupational health accident reported in South Korea in 1995. Twenty-three workers were victims of the accident, of whom eight had azoospermia in eight men and four had varying degrees of sperm reduction [1-3]. The accident reported immediate male, male sexual toxicity of 2-bromopropane by Korean, Japanese and Chinese occupational hygienists.
