国务院办公厅日前转发民政部等部门《关于加强见义勇为人员权益保护的意见》,对见义勇为人员的基本生活、医疗、入学、就业、住房等方面作了具体规定,尤其是明确了见义勇为死亡人员抚恤补助政策,充分体现了政府和社会对见义勇为人员的鼓励和关爱。近年来,各地区、各部门在鼓励见义勇为行为、保护和表彰见义勇为人员方面陆续出台法规政策,同时利用优待抚恤政策和社会救助体系对符合条件的见义勇为人员及其家庭给予了一定程度的保障。但在实践中,见义勇为权益保护工作仍存在政策措施不统一、补偿标准不明晰、保护措施操作性不强等突出问题。特别是在国家层面,没有针对见义勇为人员权益保护的专门法规政策。
