武汉造船工程学会1978年学术年会于12月26日至12月31日在汉口隆重召开。这是该学会复会以来组织的第一次大型学术会议。出席年会的有省、市科委领导。本地区会员及造船科技工作者近千人参加了学术活动。年会分船体性能、船体结构、轮机、船电自控、工艺材料等五个专业学组交流武汉地区造船科学技术成果,发表论文89篇。并通过了学会复会后的工作总结,制订了1979年学术活动计划。
The 1978 Academic Annual Meeting of Wuhan Shipbuilding Engineering Society was held in Hankou from December 26 to December 31. This is the first large-scale academic conference organized by the Society since its resumption. The leaders of the provincial and municipal science and technology commissions attended the annual meeting. Nearly 1,000 members of the region and shipbuilding scientists participated in academic activities. The five professional teams, including submarine performance, hull structure, turbines, ship automation, and process materials, exchanged scientific achievements in shipbuilding in Wuhan and published 89 papers. It also adopted a summary of the work of the Society after the resumption of the meeting, and formulated the 1979 academic activity plan.
