Chain stores are a kind of exotic goods. Since the birth of the world’s first chain store 130 years ago, the American Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, and the twentieth century, chain stores have rapidly developed. After the Second World War, many western countries saw chain operations as the best choice for retail commerce, and they dominated the economic fields of developed countries such as Europe, the United States, and Japan. In the mid-1980s, with the entry of foreign catering companies, modern chain management methods were introduced into China. In the 1990s, some state-owned commercial enterprises in coastal developed areas and some large and medium-sized cities also began to explore chain management as a new type of modern business operation.
