一、案例背景
牛津英语教材具有很多的优点,它的内容联系社会生活,贴近学生生活实际,并且每个单元都围绕一个话题,让学生通过体验实践参与合作交流和探究等方式,学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。本课是牛津初中英语7B Unit 4中的一篇阅读课文,本课的主要内容是围绕本单元的中心任务“Food and lifestyles”来展开的。这篇课文主要谈论了Kitty和Daniel过去和现在的饮食和生活习惯。通过组织开展任务型学习活动,让学生在教师的帮助和指导下掌握阅读技巧,提高阅读能力。知道什么是健康的饮食和生活习惯并养成良好的生活和学习习惯。

Step 1:Warming-up activities
T:Let’s listen to a chant.(Rice,rice,a bowl of rice.Juice,juice,a bottle of juice……)
T:Today I’my our new teacher.Are you happy?
Ss:Yes.I am.
T:1 want to know to more about you.What’s yourfavourite food?
Ss:Myfavourite foodis……
(这是课前的热身活动,又为接下来要讨论的食物做铺垫。用肢体语言,表示友好,拉近和学生的距离,营造宽松和谐的学习氛围。)
Step2:Leading-up
T:Look atthese beautiful pictures of food.What’s it?Do you like it?
(通过问答练习,并让学生在黑板上板书食物名称,使学生熟悉和了解食物名称,并在交流中培养学生的合作精神和解决问题的能力。)
Ss:It’s bread.Yes.I like it very much.
T:Let’s have a discussion.What food Canwe often eat a lot?what kind of diet and lifestyle do you think what is good for our health?
Ss:Ithinkwemust eat more fruit and vegetables.We also take more exercise……

T:Look at this photo.this is Kitty and this is Daniel.They’re my good friends.Do you want to know their diets and lifestyles.
T:Listen and answer the three questions.(Books open.Paragraphs 1~3)
a)What does Kitty want to be?
b)What does she usually eat?
c)Do you think she has a good diet and lifestyle?
Ss:Answer the questions……
T:Listen and answer the three questions.(Paragraphs4~5)
a)Whydoes Daniel changehis diet?
b)What did he eat before?
c)What does he have now?
Ss:Answer the questions……
