Tsunami is a catastrophic wave that is usually caused by an earthquake on the sea floor within 50 km below the seabed and above 6.5 on the Richter scale. The shock wave caused by the earthquake on the seabed can travel far away from the sea at speeds of 500km/h to 1000km/h. When the wave enters the continental shelf, the shallow seawater increases the height of the waves by up to several tens of meters, creating a “water wall” of “running”. This type of “water wall” contains enormous energy and can be thrown toward the sea. In the air, ordinary ships are even more vulnerable to attack. The fierce waves rush into the land and become irresistible.
