全省钢铁生产目前已经掀起紧张的战斗的高潮。为了保证如期完成并力争超过今年的生产任务,各级学校,也应当和其他方面一样,积极配合支援钢铁生产。这不仅是因为形势需要,而且对于广大知识分子和青年学生来说又是一个最好的锻炼机会,有利于学校贯彻教育为无产阶级的政治服务,教育与生产劳动结合的方针。这里特印发各高等学校,长沙市、益阳市和宁乡县的中等学校的行动情况,我们希望各级学校以此为参考,普遍对师生进行关于钢铁生产的教育,从而以实际行动,积极响应党的支援钢铁生产的号召。省委宣传部 1958年9月23日
The province’s steel production has now set off a tense fighting battle. In order to ensure that they are completed on schedule and are striving to exceed their production tasks this year, schools at all levels should, like other parties, actively cooperate with and support the production of steel. This is not only because of the needs of the situation but also serves as a best training opportunity for the vast numbers of intellectuals and young students. It is conducive to the principle that education in schools should serve the proletariat’s politics and combine education with production and labor. We hereby publish the special situation of secondary schools in various higher schools, Changsha City, Yiyang City and Ningxiang County.
