In order to explore the laws of Chinese teaching and improve the efficiency of classroom teaching, we conducted two rounds of research experiments under the guidance of the Teaching Department in the five years from 1979 to the present, changing the purposeless and systematic situation of teaching and learning in the past. The three-year plan started in 1979 contains six special topics in six stages: essay writing, modern prose teaching, novel teaching (short and long), classical Chinese teaching, poetry teaching and composition teaching.
