Visual evoked potential is a cluster of electrical information generated by visual cortex in the cortical region of the cerebral cortex, which mainly reflects the bioelectric activity from the retinal ganglion cells to the optic chiasm [1]. So it provides an objective means of examination for the retinal ganglion cells to visual center lesions.
