Emily Bronte (1818 ~ 1848) is one of the prominent British women writers in the mid-19th century. She has hundreds of poems and a novel “Wuthering Heights” throughout her life. Generally speaking, the language in Wuthering Heights is simple and natural, but it is powerful and full of vigor. At the same time, many passages in the novel contain the language features of poetry and prose. This may be due to the unique life experience and living environment of the novelist Effect caused by it.
