The transfer factor is a lymphokine produced by thymus-dependent lymphocytes (T-cells) and may reside in intact lymphocytes or highly purified lymphocyte extracts. There are specific receptors on the surface of T cells corresponding to certain antigens. When the antigen and receptor phase, T cells are activated, resulting in transfer of production and other lymphokines (factor). At the time of treatment, there is also a miniature receptor corresponding to the transfer factor in lymphocytes, so lymphocytes that are not in contact with the antigen can also be activated by means of the transfer factor. If the transfer factor into the same kind of other individuals, but also can make it increase cellular immunity.
