目前,以考分排学生名次的作法日趋普遍。不论是平时的考分,还是期末统考分,班级排名,学校也要排名。排出名次有时当众宣读,有时张榜公布,乃至用信件的形式寄给家长。有人以为,这样做可以激励学生奋发努力,刻苦争先。其实,恰恰相反,存在许多弊端 首先是成绩好的学生有两种倾向,一种是滋长骄傲自满情绪,放松对自己的要求,看不起别人;另一种是担心自己成绩下降,名次下跌,会遭到别人的讥笑,家长的指责,精神压力很大。这两种倾向对尖子学生的学习都会产生不良影响。
At present, the practice of ranking students by test scores has become increasingly common. Whether it is a usual test score, or a final test score, class rankings, schools must also be ranked. Discharge rankings are sometimes read in public, sometimes posted, and even sent to parents in the form of letters. Some people think that doing so can motivate students to work hard and strive hard. In fact, on the contrary, there are many drawbacks. First, there are two tendencies for students with good results. One is to develop feelings of pride and complacency, to relax their demands, and to look down on others; the other is to worry that their performance will decline and the ranking will fall. To other people’s ridicule, parents’ accusations, great mental pressure. Both of these tendencies have an adverse effect on the learning of top students.
