Vehicles used on railway lines should be adapted to modern and future conditions of use in terms of strength, operational reliability and safety. These conditions are set out in documents prepared on the basis of a combination of experience and scientific and technological achievements. At the same time special attention is given to the load-bearing elements of the vehicle bodywork and running gear, since mainly these load-bearing elements determine the operational safety of the vehicle.
