The use of today’s mature relational database and object-oriented programming technology to design an automated management system for hospital inpatient records enables automated, energy-efficient, automated entry, query, and management of ward records to be an important trend in modern hospital management. We use an object-oriented database development tool PowerBuilder as a development platform to enable data management in ward medical records.
