唐卡,原本是用于宗教观想的绘画,只在信教人士中使用。近几年,它以奇特而卓绝的绘画工艺与宗教意义迅速进入大众视野,成为受人瞩目的收藏品、艺术品与供奉用品。唐卡并非人人可绘,而是在历史发展中有自己固定的传袭地域。青海东南部的黄南藏族自治州,就是16世纪之后产生唐卡画师的重要地区,几百年来,黄南的热贡谷地走出一代代唐卡画师。在唐卡的变迁中,这里每个人的价值选择,将决定这个“绘画者之乡”的面貌与命运。
Thangka, originally a painting intended for religious contemplation, is used only by religious people. In recent years, with its peculiar and outstanding painting process and religious significance, it quickly entered the public field of vision and became a well-received collection, art and oblation supplies. Thangka is not everyone can paint, but in history has its own fixed heritage area. Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southeastern Qinghai is an important area where Tangka painters came after the 16th century. For hundreds of years, the hot tribute valley of Huangnan stepped out of generations of Tangka painters. In the vicissitudes of Thangka, the value choice of each individual here will determine the appearance and fate of this “hometown of the artist.”
