Objective: To investigate the anti-inflammatory effect of fox bile. Methods: The fox bile orally administered (0.1mL / 10g body weight), xylene-induced ear swelling in mice, acetic acid-induced capillary permeability in mice, sterile cotton ball granuloma caused by inflammation model To study its anti-inflammatory effect. Results: Compared with the blank control group, 25% and 50% of fox bile groups were able to inhibit the degenerative inflammation characterized by swelling and the exudative inflammation characterized by increased capillary permeability. 12.5% , 25%, 50%, and 100% fox bile has an inhibitory effect on proliferative inflammation characterized by granuloma formation. Conclusion: fox bile has some anti-inflammatory effects.
