双桂一号又叫双桂210,是广东农科院水稻研究所用桂阳矮C17作母本与桂朝二号杂交,于1979年育成的水稻新品种。1982年由广西容县引进兴义县试种。全县八个点的品种对比试验结果:双桂一号平均亩产1322.96斤,最高亩产1521.7斤。产量居第一位的有三个点;居第二位的有三个点。各点均比“桂朝二号”增产,幅度为10.8～23.6％。 Shuanggui, also known as Shuanggui 210, is a new rice variety bred in 1979 by the Rice Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences using Guiyang Dwarf C17 as the female parent and Guichao No. 2 hybrid.
