实时热成象系统是一种远红外电视照相机。然而,电视照相机在反射的短波波段工作,而热成象系统则在反射和辐射混合的波段工作。迄今,人们主要的兴趣仍是对绝对温度在300°K范围、峰值辐射在8~12微米大气窗的黑体成象。上述的两种相帆在工作波长和图象对比度之间的差别是很明显的,大多数远红外成象都不能采用电视光导摄象管。过去曾采用了对远红外辐射响应的单个或集成探测器机械扫描图象取样法。可以预料,这种技术仍将占统治地位。
The real-time thermal imaging system is a far-infrared television camera. However, television cameras operate on reflected shortwave bands, while thermal imaging systems operate on a band of reflected and radiated emissions.
