Objective To explore the pregnant outcomes of the elderly pregnant women and provide guidance for improving the perinatal outcome of the high-risk groups. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the outcomes of 122 elderly pregnant women managed by our system and randomly selected 122 moderate-age pregnant women with systemic management of simultaneous delivery as the control group. Results The incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), gestational hypertension, placenta previa and postpartum hemorrhage in the geriatric group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with significant difference; neonatal malformation, neonatal asphyxia and low birth weight occurred in the advanced age group The rate was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was significant. Conclusion The incidence of maternal complications and complications in elder mothers is obviously higher than that in elder mothers. Therefore, the perinatal care of elder pregnant women should be strengthened so as to obtain a good delivery outcome.
