Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 These Rules are formulated in accordance with the provisions of the “Countervailing Subsidy Regulations of the People’s Republic of China” in order to regulate the application for anti-subsidy investigations and the procedures for filing cases. Article 2 The designated Fair of Import and Export Fair Trade Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as MOFTEC) is responsible for the implementation of these Rules. Article 3 The MOFTEC may, upon the application of the applicant, make a decision on filing a case and conduct a countervailing investigation; or may it make its own decision?
