水工防渗墙是修建在水工挡水建筑物透水地层中的地下连续墙,它是控制渗流、减少渗流量,保证建筑物和地基渗流稳定的一种有效工程措施。它与打设板桩、灌浆等相比,具有结构可靠、防渗效果好、能适应各种不同的地层条件且不受地下水位的影响、施工深度大、施工速度快、工程造价合理等优点。在控制闸坝基础的渗流,坝体防渗和加固处理,控制围堰堰体和基础的渗流,防止泄水建筑物下游基础的冲刷等方面得到广泛的应用。
