间皮瘤是一种少见的肿瘤,好发部位为胸膜,亦可发生于腹膜、心包以及睾丸鞘膜。Wagner氏于1870年首先描述1例胸膜间皮瘤,由于本病之组织学形态极为多样化,致命名混乱。近廿年来,电子显微镜的使用以及对间皮瘤组织培养的研究,其组织学及临床特点逐步为人们了解,诊断率有很大提高。国内报道也日渐增多。我们1974～1978年共诊治间皮瘤9例,均经病理学或细胞学确诊。现结合文献复习,对本病的临床特点、诊断及治疗等问题加以探讨。
Mesothelioma is a rare tumor with a pleural predilection site and can also occur in the peritoneum, pericardium, and testicular sheath. Wagner first described 1 case of pleural mesothelioma in 1870. Due to the extremely diverse histological form of this disease, the name was confused. In recent decades, the use of electron microscopy and the study of tissue culture of mesothelioma have led to gradual understanding of histology and clinical features, and the diagnostic rate has greatly improved. Domestic reports have also increased. We diagnosed and treated 9 cases of mesothelioma from 1974 to 1978. All of them were confirmed by pathology or cytology. Now review the literature, discuss the clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
