在高校英语教学中,听、说、读、写、译五种技能作为学生基础技能而备受关注,而其中,阅读是学生获取知识和信息最直接有效的方法,同时,也是实现基础内化的重要环节,因此,阅读在大学英语教学中极受重视。然而,如何提高学生的阅读能力和水平却一直困扰着高校的英语教师和学者们。经过多年的探索,目前,在阅读理解中普遍认为图式理论起着至关重要的作用。本文从现代大学英语阅读教育存在的问题出发,将图式理论引进大学英语阅读教育中,探索优化大学英语阅读教学的新途径。
In college English teaching, five skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating have drawn much attention as students’ basic skills. And reading is the most direct and effective way for students to acquire knowledge and information, meanwhile, Therefore, reading is very important in college English teaching. However, how to improve students’ reading ability and level has plagued English teachers and scholars in colleges and universities. After years of exploration, at present, schema theory is generally considered to play a crucial role in reading comprehension. Based on the existing problems of reading comprehension in modern university English teaching, this paper introduces schema theory into college English reading education and explores new ways to optimize reading teaching in college English.
