一篇研究报告称,饮食中包含的一种普通化合物可延长小鼠寿命,并改善小鼠和大鼠的心血管健康状况,相关成果近日在线发表于《自然-医学》。亚精胺是各种动物体内合成的一种代谢物,也见于各种食品中,包括成熟奶酪、豆类和全谷类。过去,人们发现亚精胺可延长简单生物体的寿命,如酵母、果蝇和线虫。据悉,这种延长寿命的效果源于亚精胺能够激活细胞自噬过程,从而实现细胞组分的降解和循环利用。
One study reported that a common compound contained in the diet extends the lifespan of mice and improves the cardiovascular health of mice and rats, a result recently published online in Nature Medicine. Spermidine is a metabolite that is synthesized in various animals and is also found in various foods, including ripened cheeses, beans and whole grains. In the past, spermidine was found to extend the lifespan of simple organisms such as yeast, fruit flies and nematodes. It is reported that the effect of extending life expectancy from spermidine can activate cell autophagy process, in order to achieve the degradation and recycling of cell components.
