Since the 1980s, scholars from various countries have actively studied the screening and diagnosis of tumor markers of pancreatic splenic carcinoma. This article describes the research progress of pancreatic cancer markers in recent years. The sugar chain antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) Koprowski et al found that a monoclonal antibody specifically binds to the antigenic determinants of colorectal cancer cells. This named CA19-9 sugar chain antigen is also known as Gastrointestinal cancer-associated antigen (GICA). Many experimental studies have demonstrated that CA19-9 exists not only in colorectal cancer cell lines, but also in cancer tissues such as pancreas, lung, thyroid, ovary and prostate.
