介词作为一种虚词,在句中不能单独充当成份,因而在英语教学中常被我们所忽略。事实上,它在英语语言中是一个非常活跃的词类。它和其他词类构成的“介词短语”不仅具有很强的副词性和动词性,而且使语句更加生动、简练。本文列举了大量例句,分别叙述了介词短语的构成、语法功能和时态、语态。
As a kind of function words, prepositions can not be taken as a separate component in the sentence, so they are often overlooked in English teaching. In fact, it is a very active part of speech in the English language. It and other parts of the composition of the “prepositional phrase” not only has strong adverb and verb, but also make statements more vivid and concise. This article lists a large number of examples, which respectively describe the formation of prepositional phrases, grammatical functions and tense and voice.
