张志公先生在《中学语文教学》1990年第7期载文,谈及语文教学的困难和出路,特摘要如下: 一、语文教学的困难究竟在哪里? 首先是文字问题。我国几千年来一直在用所谓“方块”字,笔划多,结构也复杂,且使用年代久,变化大,很难捕捉规律性,不像其他多数民族使用的字母文字,主要是画圈儿,再加点辅助笔划,简单得多。其次是有悠久历史的文言文,语言且不说,语汇发展变化很大,语法也与当代白话文有不少差异,思想内容不同更不待言。因而教与学都有困难。这两种困难都是我国特有的,不能参考借鉴别国的做法。再者,语文教学兼差过多:思想政治
Mr. Zhang Zhigong’s article in the “Chinese Teaching in Middle Schools” (1990), seventh issue, talks about the difficulties and ways out of Chinese language teaching. The special summary is as follows: 1. Where is the difficulty in teaching Chinese? The first is the question of writing. For thousands of years, China has been using the so-called “square” character, which has many strokes and complex structures. It has been used for a long time and has undergone great changes. It is difficult to capture the regularity. Unlike most alphabetic characters used by most peoples, it is mainly about drawing circles. It is much simpler to add auxiliary strokes. Second, there is a long history of classical Chinese. Language does not say that vocabulary development has changed greatly. Grammar is also quite different from contemporary vernacular Chinese. Therefore, both teaching and learning have difficulties. Both of these difficulties are unique to China and cannot be used as a reference for other countries. In addition, there are too many Chinese language teachings: ideological politics
