豫北天门会是民间一种抗匪保家性质的秘密结社组织,抗战时期曾奋起抗日保家,后不得已伪化,但经中共积极团结争取为人民武装团体。中共利用天门会“合法”身份,建立了通过其辖区,连接冀鲁豫和太行根据地的秘密交通线。此交通线在抗战时期护送了来往于两地间的大量干部,对传送文件、运输物资方面起了积极作用,为抗战胜利做出了重大贡献。
In the days of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Tianmen Gate in the north of Henan Province was a secret association organized by the masses for the purpose of fighting against bandits and guardsmen. After the Anti-Japanese War, they had risen to defend their homeland and had no alternative but to make a falsification. However, the CCP actively sought unity as a people’s armed group. Using Tianmenhui’s “legal” status, the CCP established a secret line of communication through its jurisdiction to connect the base areas of Hebei, Shandong and Taihang. This line of transportation escorted a large number of cadres traveling between the two places during the war of resistance against Japan and played a positive role in transmitting documents and transporting goods and made a significant contribution to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.
