在中学化学胶体教学中,往往由于光源性质的局限,丁达尔现象不明显,所以不易看清楚。现在采用方向性好,单色性好,高亮度的氦氖激光器作光源,不需其它附属装置,就可以清楚地看到丁达尔现象。观察时把激光束分别水平射向装有氢氧化铁溶胶和硫酸铜溶液的烧杯等玻璃器皿(如图所示),就可看到一条鲜艳的红色激光束通过氢氧化铁溶胶,而激光束通过硫酸铜溶液时不发生这种现象。
In the teaching of chemical colloids in middle schools, due to the limitation of light source properties, the Tyndall phenomenon is not obvious, so it is not easy to see clearly. Now with the use of directional lasers with good directionality, good monochromatism, and high brightness as the light source, the Tyndall phenomenon can be clearly seen without the need for additional accessories. When observing, the laser beam is horizontally directed to a glassware (such as the figure) filled with a ferric hydroxide sol and a cupric sulfate solution, and a bright red laser beam passes through the ferric hydroxide sol while the laser beam is seen. This phenomenon does not occur when copper sulfate solution is used.
