杨田村同志在《话剧的民族化与多样化》一文中提出的观点,涉及到一系列理论与实践中的问题。诸如:话剧民族化的提法是否必要,话剧民族化的要求是否“只是一个虚拟的奋斗目标,并非是一个实际存在着的、必须解决的问题”;民族化的含意究竟是什么;从我国话剧发展历史和目前话剧创作演出现状看,是否应该提出建立中国话剧表演体系;话剧如何适应时代、适应群众的要求,等等。我们认为,这些问题会引起戏剧理论工作者、剧作家、导演、演员,以及广大话剧观众的兴趣;深入研究探讨关于话剧民族化问题,对于我国话剧的发展和繁荣,也具有实际意义。我们欢迎大家关心并积极参加这场讨论。杨田村同志的文章涉及到李门同志发表过的文章的观点。我们请李门同志就此又写了一篇短文。现将两篇文章同时发表,以此做为本刊对话剧民族化问题讨论的开端。
The view put forward by Comrade Yang Tiancun in his article “Nationalization and Diversification of Drama” involves a series of questions in theory and practice. Such as: the nationalization of the drama is necessary or not, the nationalization of the drama is “just a virtual goal, not a real problem that must be solved”; what is the meaning of nationalization; from the drama of our country Development history and present situation of drama creation and performance, whether it should be put forward to establish the Chinese drama performance system; how to adapt to the times, adapt to the needs of the masses, and so on. In our opinion, these issues will arouse the interest of theatrical theorists, dramatists, directors, actors and the general audience of the drama. Studying in depth about the nationalization of the drama also has practical significance for the development and prosperity of the drama in our country. We welcome everyone’s interest and active participation in this discussion. Comrade Yang Tiancun’s article related to the article published by Comrade Li Men’s viewpoints. We ask Comrade Li Men to write an essay in this regard. Now two articles are published at the same time as the beginning of the discussion on the nationalization of the dialogue drama in this magazine.
