使用固体含碳材料:煤:无烟煤、焦炭、电极和天然石墨、碳黑等,被认为是提高转炉熔炼废钢比的最有远景的途径之一。苏联波维茨克钢铁公司在350t转炉内曾进行过利用焦炭、油页岩和中煤来提高废钢比的工作。 使用固体含碳材料必须有保证它能更完全地被铁水吸收的条件,为此需要注意材料加进转炉的方法。通过实验确认,在兑铁水前加入含碳材料能够更大程度地增加转炉炉料的废钢比。
Use of solid carbonaceous material: Coal: Anthracite, coke, electrode and natural graphite, carbon black, etc., are considered as one of the most promising ways to increase converter smelter scrap ratio. In the 350t converter, the Soviet Union Povecke Iron and Steel Company carried out the work of using coke, oil shale and medium coal to increase the scrap ratio. The use of solid carbonaceous materials must ensure that it can be more completely absorbed by the hot metal conditions, for this need to pay attention to the material into the converter method. It is experimentally confirmed that adding the carbonaceous material before the hot metal can increase the scrap ratio of the converter charge to a greater extent.
