我国从20世纪80年代中期开始引进收视率统计方法和体系。收视率逐渐成为电视台、广告商、研究人员以及广大观众进行电视节目评估和市场分析乃至电视文化研究最基础也是最核心的指标。
Since the mid-1980s, China has introduced statistical methods and systems for viewing ratings. Television ratings gradually become television stations, advertisers, researchers and the general audience for television program evaluation and market analysis and even the most basic and the most important TV culture research indicators.
