作为宋庄第二届艺术节的主要项目、宋庄美术馆开幕的第一个展览,“天地间——现实主义的记忆”摄影展已于2006年11月6日落下帷幕,然而,它引起的回响,却像一曲的交响乐刚刚拉开序幕。这次展览的准备工作,策展人鲍昆仅用了一个月时间,可以说是从仓促和低调中开始的,但在展览过程中,几乎通过口碑相传的古老方式,逐步引起人们的关注,从艺术家、媒体到党政机关的公务员,从本地农民到志愿者和学生,各种各样的参观者纷至沓来,开幕的第一天就有四万人次参观,开展的一个月之内,每天都有很多人,甚至引来了在北京开全国市长会议的一百多名市长集体参观。对展出的作品,观众们有各自不同的解读,有人激动、有人不屑、有人困惑。用宋庄美术馆馆长、当代著名艺术评论家栗宪庭的话说,一改当代艺术展览只是圈内人自言自语的尴尬,真正感受到艺术与社会、与观众的互动。为什么要选择这样一个展览,这个展览对于当代艺术、当代中国社会的意义是什么?在宋庄美术馆馆长栗宪庭家里,由栗宪庭、策展人鲍昆、批评家李陀、廖雯等人共同作了一个小型的探讨,各自表达了他们的观点。
