对于高中生而言,高中英语这门课程的重要性不言而喻。但是很多学生在学习英语时却感到十分苦恼,他们在学习英语时总是会利用母语思维进行学习,教师又经常强制性地要求学生把每句话甚至每个单词都要背诵下来,繁杂、枯燥的英语学习使得学生对英语产生了惧怕的心理。要想提高学生的翻译能力,就要从学生的角度出发,找到真正学生惧怕英语翻译的原因?所以,教师在教学过程中将教学内容或材料借助翻译手段、通过发挥母语的积极作用来帮助学生理解、掌握语言知识,培养语言能力,帮助学生在高中阶段打好语言能力基本功。教学实践证明,将翻译教学结合英语课堂教学,不仅学生的翻译技能可得到提高,考试中听说读写部分也会随着英汉语言和文化对比知识的增加逐渐加强。
